FLEXIBILITY AND ADAPTATION OF THE ODYSSEY SYSTEM
ODYSSEY is an open system with a full possibility of adapting to the specific requirements of the Customers. One of the first applications implemented is the Hospital Bed Monitoring System, which was created in response to the specific challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
THE ACTUAL HOSPITAL OPERATION PROCESSES HAVE BEEN TRANSFERRED TO THE SYSTEM, OWING TO THE APPLICATION OF THE BEST CONTEMPORARY IT AND HARDWARE SOLUTIONS, AS WELL AS TO THE COMMITMENT OF THE MEDICAL SECTOR EMPLOYEES.
AN INNOVATIVE SYSTEM
The system is based on the most advanced RFID radio technology, developed by the market leaders, such as Zebra/Motorola and Nordicid.
All the hardware components have been designed for being used in a hospital setting.
Additionally, the communication with the hardware is secured via a proprietary encryption protocol, which makes it impossible to hack into the operating processes of the system.
AUTOMATION
In European hospitals, regardless of their size, organizational status, or the location, when facing the crisis period, there was an issue with the medical equipment logistics, and in particular with the hospital beds.
It regards providing reliable and current statistical (quantitative and qualitative) data on the beds and other medical equipment to the superior units or to the offices which contract medical procedures.
The implementation of the ODYSSEY system makes it possible to replace unreliable and time-consuming manual data entry done by the administrative and medical staff in favor of a fully automatic, comprehensive system enabling the collection of reliable and most current data regarding the quantity and quality of hospital beds.

Printing daily and monthly reports with the detailed data regarding the equipment and its status (free, busy, in disinfection, functional/out of order, reserved, etc.).
Automatically changing the status of the equipment in the selected departments (e.g. changing a bed’s status when in disinfection)

It supports any possible WIFI, LTE communication technologies.
The function of the quick battery change, as well as the docking stations, make the device available for use 24/7
It has an IP65 resistance class and can endure a fall from a height of up to 1.6 m.
A powerful, 10.500 mAh battery gives you up to 18 hours of work.
Its ergonomic handle lets you handle the daily routine functions much quicker and much more comfortably.
THE FIXED ZEBRA FX7500 READER
It does not need any additional power supply – all you need to do is connect a PoE Internet cable.
The reader is capable of scanning up to 1000 labels per second.
It has a small casing, making it perfect for almost any type of environment.
Its reliability exceeds the real demand and guarantees the trouble-free operation of the system.
THE ZEBRA AN440 ANTENNA
The high-performance RFDI AN440 area antenna ensures an adequate bandwidth and range for the reliable reading of the RFID AN440 tags, and it is a universal antenna which is placed in an attractive, durable casing.
Its wide reading field and instant conversion of radio signal makes it possible to quickly and accurately register data, even over large areas.
